The inception of Grill Sergeant was not an overnight occurrence but rather a journey that started in early childhood. The founder spent countless hours mastering the art of outdoor cooking for their family, developing a passion and expertise that would later form the foundation of our brand. This love for grilling was nurtured and refined through 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, working with steakhouse and barbecue franchises such as Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and owning several restaurants.
Our Growth
In 2011, the founder took a decisive step into the grilling industry, joining Barbecues Galore and gaining invaluable experience and deep insights. Seven years later, the concept of Grill Sergeant was born. The founder independently managed several grill stores under the Grill Sergeant banner, gaining a reputation for expertise and exceptional customer service.
The Leap
In 2023, the founder made the choice to dedicate themselves full-time to Grill Sergeant Since then, we have been independently operating, bringing our in-depth knowledge, high-quality customer service, and passion for grilling to the people of North Texas.
